Solar greenhouse, aren't all greenhouses solar ? Well of course, but this one is climate controlled by a passive solar system. This means several things;
- Oriented East and West with the entire South side glass
- Glass is at an angle to attract the most sun in the Spring and Fall
- The North wall is insulated with 6" of fiberglass insulation.
- Water storage in 8 -9 50 gallon drums.
- planting bed is all together.
- insulated rock foundation.
- Rock wall to hold up the planting bed.
- Walkway is below ground level.
